With this month's launch of the Nestle/L'oreal joint venture to produce cosmetic nutritional supplements, a beauty trade fair has added a section reserved for this innovative new market.
The organisers of the international beauty trade show Cosmeeting, say the cosmetics industry has recently seen two major market trends: 'bio' and 'nutra' cosmetics.
The 'Bio Cosmeeting' and 'Nutra Cosmeeting' sectors will run throughout the event at the Parc des Exposition in Paris Nord Villepinte, from 17- 19 September 2003. There will also be workshops related to these new areas.
Exhibitors are expected to include suppliers of vitamins, botanicals, food supplements for cosmetics purposes, and packaging companies, while targeted visitors are specialist distributors, but also pharmacies, beauty outlets, supermarkets, department stores and overseas importers.
