Kick off 2024 by discovering the trends shaping the next generation of beauty consumers by joining us at Beauty Forward 2024, our new digital interactive beauty summit.
The three-day event is scheduled to commence in the Asia Pacific (Jan 29), followed by Europe on (Jan 30), and North America on (Jan 31).

Asia panel: What to expect
The summit commences in APAC with three enlightening sessions: delve into next-gen skin care opportunities, explore next-gen colour innovation, and decipher the intricacies of the next-gen Asian consumer.
We will round up the day with a live panel on the APAC beauty industry to discuss trend evolution, consumer shifts, and the region’s overall role in the future of beauty.
The panel will be hosted by CosmeticsDesign-Asia editor, Amanda Lim, who will be joined by a diverse panel of experts from the biggest beauty multinationals, cutting-edge startups, as well as trend experts from around the globe.
Panel players: The brands
This includes Xiang Wen Hong, global senior director at Kenvue, who will speak on derma beauty's evolution from the perspective of leading Japanese brand, Dr. Ci:Labo.
With over five years of global innovation and brand development experience at the headquarters of L’Oreal, the world’s largest cosmetics company, Xiang Wen has a strong background in brand growth strategy, innovation and communications development, passionate about the consumer and science storytelling. She is also experienced in global, regional, and local roles in global matrix organizations, across developed and developing markets.
Next, we have Johanna Monange, founder of Maison 21G, who will dive into the data she has gleaned from her bespoke fragrance house to share the fragrance preferences of Gen Z consumers.
Johanna has worked tirelessly for several creative powerhouses of the perfume industry including Firmenich and IFF, where she took the role of creative director. Her inspiring career led her to work alongside globally renowned noses, and her life was devoted to developing scents for luxury brands such as La Vie est Belle for Lancôme, One Million for Paco Rabanne, Acqua di Gioia for Armani, Spicebomb for Viktor & Rolf, and many more.
We will also be hearing invaluable insights from Katia Darde, digital, e-commerce & CRM director for South East Asia, Coty.
Since joining Coty in mid-2021, Katia has fearlessly spearheaded her team to engineer robust digital and e-commerce strategies. Katia is responsible for driving omnichannel transformation and e-commerce growth across more than 15 brands, including Gucci, Burberry, Chloe, and Hugo Boss.
Her recent achievements include launching Coty's largest digital flagship stores in Southeast Asia for the Hugo Boss & Marc Jacobs Fragrances on LazMall, resulting in increased online revenue growth.
Panel players: The industry insiders
Esteemed cosmetic chemist Belinda Carli will also be joining us on the panel to provide her perspective into the future of the industry.
Belinda is the director of the Institute of Personal Care Science, an international training organisation that provides certificate and diplomas via distance education in the formulation, development, brand management and regulatory affairs for personal care and cosmetics.
Beyond that, Belinda is also an author of multiple books and publications. She also runs a successful YouTuber channel covering a variety of cosmetic formulation, regulatory, marketing and brand management topics.
Last but not least, Malavika Menon, assistant manager, Invest India, will be on hand to demystify the intricacies of the lucrative yet complex Indian beauty market from the perspective of India’s businesses and governing bodies.
